Ryan Lee Is Up to Bat

.............and the umpire said, "play ball!!!!" and that is just what RJ did. He did confess to Papa Vic and Grandma Debbie however, that he really didn't want to play short stop. He really wanted to play catcher, but he gave it his all anyway. He had at least two hits and made it to home base twice. Not too bad for early in the season. Stay tuned for front view pictures of RJ batting as he steps up to bat next week-end.

My Amazing Family

I know no one on earth has a family as amazing as mine. I'm not trying to brag, it's just a fact. In this picture we have just completed an incredible walk through Mt. Pisgah Arboretum, http://mountpisgaharboretum.org/, which lies between the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and the slopes of Mt. Pisgah in Lane County Oregon . We had 70 degree weather and saw a plethora of wildflowers including Fairy Slippers, which sister Vicki says she has always called Lady Slippers. Well fairies are little ladies, right?
Eighty one year old dad hiked the 3 plus miles with us and we had a photo shoot of him with 4 of his 5 children. My grandneice Madison was the youngest of the bunch and kept us on the trail and our pace at a rapid clip. Blessed day indeed.
