My Amazing Family

I know no one on earth has a family as amazing as mine. I'm not trying to brag, it's just a fact. In this picture we have just completed an incredible walk through Mt. Pisgah Arboretum, http://mountpisgaharboretum.org/, which lies between the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and the slopes of Mt. Pisgah in Lane County Oregon . We had 70 degree weather and saw a plethora of wildflowers including Fairy Slippers, which sister Vicki says she has always called Lady Slippers. Well fairies are little ladies, right?
Eighty one year old dad hiked the 3 plus miles with us and we had a photo shoot of him with 4 of his 5 children. My grandneice Madison was the youngest of the bunch and kept us on the trail and our pace at a rapid clip. Blessed day indeed.

  1. What a wonderful memory you all created that day! The pictures you've posted are beautiful. I always love seeing pictures of the family together sharing good times, so much love between you all. Wonderful to see everyone doing so well too. The composition of these photos is fantastic. The first picture has this incredible frame of the moss covered trees in the background and the grass in the foreground. The second one has great shadow and lighting. Your last picture is just stunning the way the green leaf background makes the colors of the flower really pop. Looking forward to seeing more! Thank you for sharing these.
    Love, Mary
