Cabernet State of Mind

Its a Thursday night after work and you find yourself settling down at your favorite local English Pub, even though you don't live in England, the Fox & Goose for a nice glass of beautiful, red cabernet. Lively conversation with friends, a snack and another glass of cab, you look around and find you have a different perspective of your surroundings than when you walked in. You have a cabernet state of mind.

  1. Mmmm, I like this post! Matthew and I just got back form a little 2 day jaunt to the coast. It was lovely, and one of my favorite bits was settling myself on the hotel bed and finishing up a really good book while sipping my third glass of some Marechal Foch. A moment not to be duplicated. Unfortunately.

  2. I'm hoping you have a few pictures to post of your romantic get-away. I'm sure it was wonderful.
Marechal Foch? I new one on me. I'm going to have to look into that, thoroughly!

  3. Apparently it is an Oregon thing, grows well here much like Pinot. We liked the August Cellars one, but the Chateau Lorane was good too. Fruity, with lots of marionberry and plum flavors, soft tannins, very easy to drink.
