  1. My favoritist is the corn field - that is kick ass, then the woodland farm, and blossoms at the simpson ranch. I like farm equipment one and single pear. Also the sunflower.
Also, what about some of those magazine worthy shots that you got of the glass cabinets and jar jars at the applegate house?

  2. Thank you for participating Katie! I appreciate your feedback very much. As for magazine worthy shots, really? I'm not sure I know which ones you mean? That is quite a compliment. Are you talking about shots I took at the farm where we spent mother/daughter week-end? The Pennington Farm in the Applegate Valley? Ryan said the Woodland farm house shot is not good because the trees are full of mistletoe, lol. Some of my shots aren't as sharp as they should be. I really like your description of my corn field though, lol. Thanks again. Love you.

  3. Yes, the Pennington farm! There were some great foodie shots from that run. Both of those pear shots are really beautiful. The second one would not load on my computer last night. I love the idea of the project. I do that same thing when I go someplace and there is some detail that they did not pay enough attention to. You just want to fix it! This is a great way! Beatifying the world, one image at a time.

  4. Teensy! Wonderful! First I want to say these are fun and interesting just to look at, but more so when I think about them in that particular setting. While the piles of produce are quite colorful and pretty, they are not as unique as some of your others. I agree with Katie about the corn field. It reminds me of the Van Gough painting of a lark in the sky above a windy field of grass and flowers. Do you know the one? I think the Sunflower High D is very damatic, Swiss Chard 3 because it's not obviously chard but so pretty, the side by side pears just lovely, the mushrooms again because it's different and I like the color/composition. I like the little shed with the flowers, but it's more personal, and not as perfect in the setting. I feel like I need to pick one with a farm in it, but don't know.... I don't love them as much. But that is 5 for me and I don't get any more anyway. lol Good job going for it Teensy! What are your favorites? By the way. xoxox

  5. P.S. Teesy, I think the 3 corn shots would make an outstanding grouping. You could have a little card and price with each piece.( I see that with art displayed places). If one sold you could bring in an other. Keep the look fresh, by replacing them periodically.

  6. For some reason I leaned towards all the produce shots. The artsy farm, corn , and sunflower shots are all cool but to keep an all in one theme I like Single Pear, Red Onions, Chard Yellow, Swiss Chard 1, and Peppers 2. An award winning quintet if I do say so.

  7. I'm thrilled with the time, encouragement and comments from everyone, thank you!! The feedback has been very helpful. I printed a few up today and saw that I needed to tweak them a little. The running favorites from the votes so far are the radishes and the pears. I printed the radishes up today and they did come out pretty good. Single pear came out too dark so I lightened it and re-posted it. You probably can't really from looking at the blog. I plan to take more pictures of actual farms and farm equipment as per some of the suggestions. Additionally, I have eliminated some because the image isn't as sharp or focused as I would like. Also I have added a pomegranate. I'm very motivated. Thank you all once again!! Diana

  8. hmmmmmm "An award winning quintet if I do say so". Teddy, is that you!? lol Anyway, they look good Teensy, and I like Coco's suggestion (email) about other farm tools, not just the big ones, but smaller ones. Sometimes you look at some "old' tool and say what the heck is that? Interesting conversation piece? I also liked her idea of switching with the season. It would be fun for you to put your "next "collection together to switch out for each season. I like produce used for holiday displays. Combinations of produce and vegetation.... grapes, egg plant, cedar, ect.....

  9. I'm a little late to the table, had not checked my email recently. So I'll get right to it. I am most drawn to the produce. Single pear, side by side pear, blossoms at ranch, Pom. 1, heirloom toms. I love the whole concept and all the ideas everyone had to share. So excited to see what the final project looks like and hear how it is received.
